Joint Compounds

Also known as drywall compound, joint compound is similar to plaster and is used to seal joints between sheets of drywall to achieve a completely smooth coat of paint. Also referred to as mud, it is primarily used in building construction on interior walls. The compound is made by mixing gypsum with water which is usually about the consistency of toothpaste.

We carry the top brands of joint compounds and finishing mud in all purpose, heavy, and light weight finishes. Additionally, we carry hot muds in everything from 5 to 210-minute drying times.
