Joint Compounds

 Also known as drywall compound, joint compound is similar to plaster and is used to seal joints between sheets of drywall to achieve a completely smooth coat of paint. Also referred to as mud, it is primarily used in building construction on interior walls. The compound is made by mixing gypsum with water which is usually about the consistency of toothpaste.

We carry the top brands of joint compounds and finishing mud in all purpose, heavy, and light weight finishes. To add the perfect look to your wall or ceilings, we have an assortment of both prep textures and finishing textures.  Our selection of Beadex joint compounds includes a diverse set of products that are ideal for multiple drywall applications. Beadex Lite joint compounds weigh 35% less than other conventional compounds, keeping productivity high, and application much easier. Beadex Heavy offers a denser joint compound that is ideal for high demand joint and drywall jobs. For jobs that require quick-setting joint compounds, we offer Badex Silver Set, FasTex, and Gold line products.

Hamilton Joint Compounds provide our customers with a versatile selection of products to choose from to meet any job requirements. Choose from some of their most popular lines, including Hamilton Light & Heavy, Ready Spray, EZ Spray, Prep Text and Smooth Set.

We also carry several ProRoc brand joint compounds, which utilize a vinyl base that requires minimal thinning or mixing. The result is a seamless finish that is excellent for ceiling and wall applications. Customers can choose from their Lite and Heavy products and hot muds with drying times ranging from 20 to 90 minutes.
