As the second largest producer in the United States, the company’s primary product is Gypsum board. Marketed under the Gold Bond BRAND, National Gypsum produces gypsum board from 17 different operating plants, each one strategically located near major metropolitan areas.

In addition, the company produces interior finishing products under the ProForm BRAND from six operating plants around the nation. Sometimes referred to as “drywall mud” or “ready mix”, their primary product is joint compound.

National Gypsum’s third business line is cement board, marketed under the PermaBase BRAND. Produced in four different plants, cement board is primarily used as an underlayment for floors, countertops and tile walls.
