Founded as Kemlite Company in 1954, Crane Composites has over 55 years of dedicated service and quality, and is now the world’s leading manufacturer of fiber-reinforced plastic composite materials.
As Kemlite, the company quickly grew to acquire Filon manufacturing facility in 1993 and Sequentia, Inc. in 1998. In 2001, the company acquired the U.K.’s leading frp producer, Lampro. In 2002, they acquired Lasco Composites LP and Qualis, a film embossing company. In 2006 and 2007, they acquired Noble Composites and the Composite Panel Business and Research and Development Center of Owens Corning, a portion of the Fabwel business unit. Today, Crane Composites has over 650 employees worldwide.
In an effort to protect the world, Crane Composites is committed to minimizing its impact on the environment by reducing land fill waste and limiting the emission of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) that are part of the manufacturing process.
